The City of Princeton has set a goal to protect, promote and improve the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens and all lands within the city limits by implementing land-use protection ordinances. As a result, the City of Princeton, as authorized by KRS 65.8801 to 65.8839, created an administrative board with the authority to issue remedial orders and impose fines in order to provide an equitable, expeditious, effective and inexpensive method of compliance with our ordinances concerning nuisance violations.
Please explore the links along the top of this page to learn more about the code enforcement process, to electronically submit complaints, to sign up for our lienholder notification system, to track final orders as they are issued, and to meet the members of our community involved in local code enforcement.
And of course, if you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact City Hall at (270) 365-9575, or visit in-person at our location at 206 East Market Street in downtown Princeton. We look forward to addressing any concerns you may have as we work together to make Princeton a better home for us all.
