Welcome to the 2017 Black Patch Heritage Festival.
The Black Patch Festival has a long, rich history in the Caldwell County community. For the last 47 years, the
Princeton Optimist Club has had the honor of sponsoring the annual festival.
Each September, on the first Saturday after Labor Day, thousands of people fill Main Street throughout the
day enjoying games, food and reconnecting with friends they may not have seen since the last Black Patch.
The annual Butler/Caldwell County Alumni Reunion is also held this day and brings in many folks from all over the country.
This year we have tried to bring back many favorite activities from the past. We hope to see the street filled with
many local groups raising money for their sports teams, church groups and many other great causes.
