The Princeton Optimist Club operates to help and support youth groups and activities in our community. We hold an annual Radio Auction to raise funds for numerous programs plus provide scholarships for students from both Caldwell and Lyon Counties. They recently started presenting scholarships to students interested in pursing a career in the trades. They host the annual community festival in September "The Black Patch Festival" which includes a street fair and parade. It is help the Saturday after Labor Day. The Club meets the last Tuesday of each month at 5:00PM at the Majestic House.
